Collin Scoville was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on September 12, 1995, to parents Eric and Caroline “Carrie” Ross. His family, including his four sisters, Danae, Gianna, Nyla, and Raia, as well as his adored grandparents, Josephine “Mickey” and Carroll “Buddy” Scoville, and Michael and Florian Ruffin-Wilson, surrounded him with love and care.
Mentor City as a child
Scoville attended Mentor City schools and Brush High School before graduating from Mentor High School in 2013. His upbringing was defined by a tremendous love of sports and the outdoors and a strong connection to his community, particularly in Mentor’s “Headlands.” He made lifelong connections and had a lasting impression on his community through sports, notably football.
Adulthood and Career
Collin Scoville was recognized for his persistent work ethic and how he motivated everyone around him, including his family and friendships. His kind personality and passion as a business owner and manager generated a supportive environment that stimulated those who worked under his direction.
Wyoming and California time
Scoville spent his adult life in Wyoming with his Aunt Tameka (Ross) and Uncle Jermaine Kimbrough, as well as some time in California. These encounters broadened his horizons and resulted in the formation of new friendships. He participated in various activities, including beach volleyball and surfing, demonstrating his passion for sports and the environment.

Scoville’s contagious laughter and friendly smile brought joy and comfort to many. His ability to light up any room was a monument to his radiance. His spirituality radiated through his interactions, forming an everlasting relationship with those fortunate to meet him.
Unfortunate Loss
Scoville’s life was cruelly cut short on July 18, 2023, leaving a community in sadness and not knowing the exact cause of his death. While his family mourns his untimely death, we celebrate his life, cherish the memories he left us, and support his loved ones in their sorrow.
